This was practice brushwork with inks. It's based on a character design I did at the panel :iconchibimaryn: held during Comics Art Form 2007. Incidentally, I made this during the panel Mark Schultz held the next day at CAF. Please full-view because the thumbnail makes the inks blurry and horrible -_-;;

Media: India ink with Winsor & Newton Sable Series 7 #2 round brush.

... wow that was a mouthful.

Legends of the Dark Crystal: The Garthim Wars is owned by TokyoPop and Henson Entertainment, and is illustrated by :iconchibimaryn:. BUY THE BOOK. It's amazing.

Why not just try working in 2 styles? One manga/comicky the other brush/indyish? If you can I say go for it it's good to be diverse~
